From Esfahan to Poznan – book premiere at the embassy of Iran

On July 3, 2024, the premiere of the book “From Isfahan to Poznan” by prof. took place at the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Radosław Fiedler and Ellias Aghila Dehnavi, lecturers at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. The book unveiling ceremony took place with the participation of Hossein Gharibi, Ambassador of Iran to Poland.

The publication describes cultural and historical interactions between Iran and Poland. It analyzes historical documents regarding the relations between the two countries (e.g. the Treaty of Friendship concluded in 1927). The victories, difficulties and turning points discussed in the book help further explore the lasting cultural partnership of both nations. What united us and… still can unite us.

During the meeting, there was also a lively exchange of views on the development of joint cultural activities, such as: exhibitions of Iranian handicrafts and exhibitions of photos of Polish refugees who found shelter in Iran during World War II. I highly recommend reading this fascinating publication, which can be ordered by contacting prof. Radosław Fiedler, Ellias Aghila Dehnavi and our foundation.

Abhaseed Foundation Fund is proud to have supported this ambitious project! Kudos to the authors!
